This Saturday we’re doing the Lincoln Road in style. Here’s the plan. First, it’s either Cafe Nexxt or Balans — both are our favorite outdoor cafes on Lincoln Road due to their locations.
Meat Market, at 915 Lincoln Road. Last time we went there was for Miami Spice which made it doubly good because the prix-fixe menu included Alaskan crab tail, spicy baby back ribs, New Zealand lamb chops or a broiled rib eye steak and milk chocolate panna cotta. Not bad at all!
Next, the Colony Theater where the Brazilian Film Festival opens and admission is free for screenings at 8pm of a short film by Clovis Mello followed by “In Therapy” by Jose Alvarenga Jr. The after-party at Bar 721 starts at 10:30pm.
Then for nightlife we’re going to SET at 320 Lincoln Road where they are celebrating 2 significant South Beach Birthdays tonight, Eric Milon and Joey Goldman. We’ve been invite to come and hear DJ Chicco Secci (a fav of mine) and Laurent Simeca, plus a “dazzling bawdy” burlesque performance by Miss Dakota. You just know you’re gonna get lucky!
