Disney describes DAS as one of several queue-access options and currently focuses eligibility on guests who, because of a developmental disability such as autism or similar needs, cannot wait in a conventional queue for an extended period. Other options may include attraction queue re-entry, Rider Switch, mobility devices and standard queue-management strategies.

Plan the physical day as carefully as the ride list

Even when attraction access is workable, the total walking, heat and standing can be the bigger issue. Decide which lands matter most, identify air-conditioned or quieter breaks, and be willing to leave before fireworks if the traveler has reached a reasonable limit.
